Why Hog 2.6 works

At an average of 2.6 elixir, the deck can play Hog Rider again before the opponent's counter comes back around. You are not trying to win one big push. You are trying to land many small ones.

• Cannon and Ice Golem pull tanks and stall pushes.
• Musketeer is your main air defence, so protect her.
• Fireball and The Log clear support troops and finish towers.

How to play it

1. Start passive. Learn the opponent's deck before committing your Musketeer.
2. Defend cheaply, counter-push with Hog. A surviving Ice Spirit or Skeletons next to a Hog is enough to deal damage.
3. Track their Hog counter. When it is out of rotation, send Hog immediately.
4. Spell cycle in overtime. Fireball and Log the tower when both sides are defending well.

Matchups

Cycle decks struggle against heavy air like LavaLoon. Hold Musketeer for the Hound and Fireball the Balloon support. Against Log Bait you are usually favoured, because your cheap cards answer theirs well.
